March Magnolia-licious Blog Hop

Yes, it is that time again ~ the 25th of the month, which means it is time for the Magnolia-licious Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from the Lauren's beautiful blog, you are on the right track! If you just happened upon my blog, you are going to want to start at the beginning, so you don't miss a single one of these lovely cards! And if for some chance you become lost along the blog, you can always head to the main blog which will have ALL the addresses of the participants =)

Now, onto my Christmas card of the year ~ which yes it still DOES feel like wintery Christmas around here (we are SOOOO ready for spring!). I decided to go with a simple sketch and tried to use minimal colors with some accent (can you tell the red is the accent?) I had originally planned on paper-piecing Tilda's dress with some beautiful glittery cardstock, but wouldn't you just know it (and yes, knowing MY luck.....), I cut my finger at pretty much the *end* of the paper-piecing endeavor and bled on the beautiful cardstock. So I ended up putting some stickles on her white dress and giving her gold wings instead =)

~*~ DEETS ~*~

Stamp: Christmas Angel
DP:The paper Studio Simple Elegance with Foil
Inks: Memento Tuxedo black, Copics (E00,E17,E18,E19,R37,RV10) Lemon Spica pen
Embellishments: Stardust Stickles, Snickerdoodle Smooch Accent Ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ now hop onto the talented Monique's blog to see her Christmas inspiration =)

Lindsy, this is beautiful. Love the pop of red and pretty golden wings. Sorry to hear you cut your finger, thought I was the only one who had stuff like that happen to my projects. Hope it heals quickly. Gorgeous card!
