To start at the beginning of the
Magnolia-licious hop, please go

Lauren's blog, you are on the right track =)
I thought that this sounded like such a GREAT idea ~ each month on the 25th we are doing a blog hop featuring a Christmas Magnolia image ~ here's hoping I can stay AHEAD of all the Christmas cards this year =)
So for the first card, I decided to use my favorite Tilda Christmas stamp ~ it is Tilda as Lucia. This is my favorite stamp because my grandfather came over from Sweden with his parents when he was 2 years old ~ and Lucia is a Swedish celebration is an annual festival of medieval origin, observed on the 13th of December. On this day, the darkness is brightened by Saint Lucia, a creature of goodness and light who opens the door to the Christmas season.

Sorry the picture is so dark ~ I take pictures outside and unfortunately it has been stormy here lately ~ but I'm not complaining too loudly because it was 48 (!!!!) degrees here today ~ for the middle of January in West Michigan that is pretty unheard of!
The red berries in her wreath are colored in with a red spica pen to make them sparkle ~ I also used a clear spica pen to add sparkles to Tilda's white dress.
