Magnolia-licious DT Sketch for June

Over at Magnolia-licous Highlites they posted the DT sketch for June. It just so happens that I was looking for a nice little sketch for a thank-you card for my eldest son's kindergarten teacher :o) So....I decided to give it a whirl!
Here is the sketch:

And here is what I came up with:

What is used on this card:
BG Phoebe patterned paper, misc. ribbon, Kaiser rhinestones, the image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and distressed around the image with ColorBox Chalk in Rouge. Edwin has been colored with Copics (0, E00, G02, C-1, Y11, E0000, B93, B95, Y21, E37, RV10). I also used Atyou Spica pens to accent the yellow tulips and a thin line on his shoes (I used Lemon for the tulips and turquoise for his shoes).
I wish you could smell the card :o) I found these GREAT card scents called, "Scent My Cards" . After sniffing the scents that I have, my son decided that he liked Pina Colada the best, so we scented this card with that and now all that is left for him to do is write on it and give it to his teacher :o)
